Statistics (9 total teams):

Edmonton is (2-1) on the season while Hamilton is (2-2).  Hamilton (+17) has the 3rd best point differential in the CFL.  Edmonton (-1) ranks 4th in the league in regards to point differential.  Edmonton ranks 2nd in points per game (32.0) and 8th in fewest points allowed (32.3).  Hamilton ranks 6th in points per game (25.0) and 2nd in fewest points allowed (20.8).

Summary:

Edmonton is coming off a 20-16 win over Winnipeg whereas Hamilton defeated Montreal 31-7.  These two teams are very evenly matched showcased by their similar statistics.  Hamilton is the more balanced team but Edmonton’s explosive offense will keep them in every game.  I give the slight edge to Edmonton but I think this will be a close game.
