Overview:

On Thursday, November 30th, the (5-6) Washington Redskins will be on the road to take on the (5-6) Dallas Cowboys.

The Crowd:

“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Redskins 25.5 – Cowboys 21.2 with an over/under of 46.7.

2017-18 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Redskins 356.1 (11th) > Cowboys 333.5 (16th)

Points per game: Redskins 23.5 (12th) > Cowboys 22.5 (15th)

Turnover margin: Redskins 0 > Cowboys -4

Fewest yards allowed per game: Redskins 346.0 (20th) > Cowboys 348.3 (22nd)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Cowboys 24.5 (24th) > Redskins 25.1 (25th)

Summary:

The Redskins ended their two-game losing streak with a 20-10 home victory over the New York Giants.  Washington outgained the Giants 323-170 in total yardage.  Kirk Cousins was 19-31 for 242 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.  Samaje Perine had 24 carries for 100 yards (4.2 average).  After a slow start to the season Jamison Crowder has been on fire the last few games.  Crowder had seven catches for 141 yards and a touchdown.  The Redskins defense turned in their best performance of the season holding the Giants to under 200 yards and 10 points.  Washington (-18) ranks 17th in the NFL in point differential.

The Cowboys season is spiraling out of control as they have now lost three straight games.  Dallas was soundly beaten 28-6 on their home field by the Los Angeles Chargers.  The Chargers outgained the Cowboys 515-247 in total yardage.  Dak Prescott was 20-27 for 179 yards and two interceptions.  The Cowboys sorely miss the suspended Ezekiel Elliott and are (0-3) in his absence.  The Cowboys running backs totaled 79 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries (4.0 average).  The Dallas secondary was torched by Phillip Rivers for 434 yards and three touchdowns.  The Cowboys (-22) rank 18th in the NFL in point differential.

Bottom Line:

The Cowboys are (0-3) without Ezekiel Elliott and have been outscored 92-22 in those three games.  Dak Prescott has really struggled in those three losses failing to throw a touchdown while tossing five interceptions.  Kirk Cousins is playing at a high level and the Redskins offense has scored 20+ points in three straight games.  The Cowboys defeated the Redskins 33-19 earlier this season but they are really struggling both offensively and defensively.  I’m picking the Redskins to win and cover the (-4.3) spread.
