Strength of schedule:

Alabama is (5-0) with wins over Florida State, Fresno State, Colorado State, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss.  Texas A&M is (4-1) with wins over Nicholls State, LA-Lafayette, Arkansas, and South Carolina.  They were defeated by UCLA.

Summary:

Alabama remains undefeated after destroying Ole Miss 66-3 at home last week.  Alabama outgained Ole Miss 613-253 in total yardage.  Jalen hurts was 12-19 for 197 yards and two touchdowns.  Hurts also carried the ball 11 times for 101 yards and a touchdown.  The Crimson Tide run game as a whole dominated with 365 yards and five touchdowns on 51 carries.  Alabama’s defense continues to dominate as they’ve now held all but one of their opponents to ten points or fewer.  Alabama ranks 14th in total yardage (509.0) and 8th in points per game (44.8).  The Crimson Tide rank 1st in scoring defense (8.6).

Texas A&M is currently riding a four-game winning streak after defeating South Carolina 24-17 at home.  Texas A&M outgained South Carolina 396-279 in total yardage.  Kellen Mond was 19-27 for 159 yards passing.  Mond also rushed 16 times for 95 yards.  Texas A&M was able to run the football effectively garnering 237 total yards and three touchdowns on 49 carries.  Texas A&M ranks 41st in total offense (448.0 YPG) and 29th in points per game (37.4).  The Aggies rank 80th in scoring defense (28.0 PPG).

Bottom Line:

Texas A&M doesn’t have much of a passing game and that will hurt them against an Alabama defense that leads the nation in fewest points allowed and is second rushing yards allowed.  The Aggies lack the offensive playmakers to keep the Crimson Tide defense honest.  No team has been able to stop the Alabama rushing attack which averages over 300 yards per game.  I expect Alabama to roll in another blowout victory.
