Summary:

The Packers were able to dominate the Chicago Bears 35-14 at home on Thursday night.  The Packers were actually outgained the Bears 308-260 in total yardage which is surprising considering the final score.  Aaron Rodgers was 18-26 for 179 yards and four touchdowns.  Green Bay lost their best running back Ty Montgomery and one of their better receivers Davante Adams to injury.  Not only did they lose Montgomery, but backup running back Jamaal Williams was also injured.  Green Bay’s defense played well slowing down Jordan Howard and forcing the Bears into four turnovers.  The Packers (+21) rank 7th in the NFL in point differential.

Dallas is coming off a disappointing 35-30 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams.  The Cowboys outgained the Rams 440-412 in total yardage.  Dak Prescott was 20-36 for 252 yards with 3 touchdowns and one interception.  Ezekiel Elliott finished with 85 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Dallas totaled 189 rushing yards for the game so offense was hardly the problem.  The Cowboys defense was shredded both through the air and on the ground so they’ll be left searching for answers.  Star linebacker Sean Lee sat out with a hamstring injury and it certainly showed on the field.  The Cowboys (-3) rank 20th in the NFL in point differential.

Bottom Line:

The Packers are banged up on the offensive line and without their top running back.  It’s hard to ever count out Aaron Rodgers but injuries and an ineffective running game are forcing him to play flawless.  Dallas should be able to run the ball effectively and keep Rodgers off the field.  With all the injuries to Green Bay, I like Dallas to win at home.
