“The Crowd” projects a final score of Montreal 28.9 – Toronto 25.4 with an over/under of 54.3.

2017 Statistics (9 total teams):

Point differential: Montreal -9 (7th) > Toronto -28 (8th)

Points per game: Toronto 25.1 (7th) > Montreal 23.5 (8th)

Points allowed per game: Montreal 25.0 (3rd) > Toronto 29.1 (7th)

Yards per game: Toronto 408.4 (4th) > Montreal 404.2 (5th)

Summary:

Toronto shockingly leads the East Division despite their (3-4-0) record.  The Argonauts suffered a 41-24 loss at home to the Calgary Stampeders last week.  Toronto’s defense was very poor but Calgary leads the league in points scored by a wide margin.  Calgary quarterback Bo Levi carved up the Argonauts defense for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Montreal is (2-4-0) on the season and should be well rested coming off their bye week.  Montreal is (2-1-0) at home this season while Toronto is (1-2-0) on the road.  These is one of the most evenly matched games we have seen all season.  Toronto quarterback Ricky Ray leads the CFL in passing yards and will be leaned heavily on as Montreal really stuffs the running game.  The Argonauts will look to control the clock with Tyrell Sutton and his rushing success will likely determine the outcome of this game.  I’m picking Toronto to pull off the upset because they have the more prolific passing attack.
