 The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Calgary 30.6 – Winnipeg 25.8 with an over/under of 56.5.

2016 Statistics (9 total teams):

Point differential: Calgary +4 (tied for 3rd) > Winnipeg +3 (4th)

Points per game: Winnipeg 43.0 (1st) > Calgary 37.0 (2nd)

Points allowed per game: Calgary 35.0 (7th) > Winnipeg 40.0 (9th)

Yards per game: Winnipeg 430.0 (3rd) > Calgary 424.5 (4th)

Yards allowed per game: Winnipeg 397.0 (6th) > Calgary 461.0 (8th)

Summary:

Calgary is now (1-0-1) after defeating Calgary 43-39 in week two.  Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 295 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory.  Calgary putting up an average of 37 points per game in two games against Ottawa is very impressive. Winnipeg is (1-0-0) after squeaking out a 43-40 overtime win over Saskatchewan.  Winnipeg quarterback Matt Nichols threw for 331 yards and 4 touchdowns.  Kicker Justin Medlock connected for 5 field goals including the game winner.  Winnipeg’s offense certainly looked explosive but they were facing a porous Saskatchewan defensive unit.  Calgary is the better team on both sides of the ball and should win this one on the road.
