 The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Winnipeg 27.5 – Saskatchewan 24.9 with an over/under of 52.4.

2016 Statistics (9 total teams):

Point differential: Saskatchewan -1 (5th)

Points per game:  Saskatchewan 16.0 (7th)

Points allowed per game: Saskatchewan 17.0 (4th)

Yards per game: Saskatchewan 401.0 (5th)

Yards allowed per game: Saskatchewan 332.0 (2nd)

*Note: Winnipeg had a bye week and has yet to play a game this season.

Summary:

Saskatchewan suffered a 17-16 defeat to the Montreal Alouettes in week one.  Roughriders kicker Tyler Crapigna had a chance to win the game with a 45-yard field goal but it was off target.  Montreal quarterback Darian Durant threw for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns against his former team.  Winnipeg had their bye week and has yet to play a game this season.  Winnipeg was (11-7-0) in last season and ranked 4th in point differential (+43).  Winnipeg ranked middle of the pack both offensively and defensively last season while Saskatchewan had the worst offense and was 8th on defense.  I like Winnipeg to win this one comfortably at home.
