 The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Hamilton 26.7 – Toronto 26.3 with an over/under of 53.1.

2016 Statistics (9 total teams):

Point differential: Hamilton +5 (5th) > Toronto -185 (9th)

Points per game: Hamilton 28.2 (4th) > Toronto 21.3 (tied for 6th)

Points allowed per game: Hamilton 27.9 (7th) > Toronto 31.6 (9th)

Yards per game: Hamilton 387.8 (5th) > Toronto 348.2 (8th)

Yards allowed per game: Hamilton 377.4 (2nd) > Toronto 399.1 (8th)

Summary:

Hamilton finished last season with a (7-11-0) record while Toronto was (5-13-0).  Toronto had a rough season last year ranking dead last in point differential and total defense.  The Argonauts were the only team in the CFL to allow over 30 points per game last year.  Toronto was just (2-7-0) at home last year Hamilton was (4-5-0) on the road.  This is the biggest mismatch of all the week one games.  Hamilton has the advantage in every major statistical category and should win this one easily on the road.
