Summary:
Golden State now has a (1-0) series advantage after beating San Antonio 113-111 at home. The Warriors took advantage of Kawhi Leonard’s ankle injury and overcame a 25-point deficit en route to victory. Leonard is listed as questionable for game two and is expected to undergo an MRI to determine his playing status. The Spurs were +23 with Leonard on the floor and -25 without him. LaMarcus Aldridge is returning to all-star form with 28 points and 8 rebounds. Kevin Durant took over the game scoring 12 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter. Stephen Curry had 40 points on 14-26 shooting. The Warriors got only 6 points from Klay Thompson and 9 points from Draymond Green so I would expect they perform better in game two. With the uncertainty surrounding Kawhi’s health, I think the Warriors win in a blowout.
