Overview:

On Monday, May 15th, the Washington Wizards will be on the road to take on the Boston Celtics in game seven of their Eastern Conference playoff series. The series is tied (3-3).

The Crowd:

“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Celtics 108.5 – Wizards 101.6 with an over/under of 210.1.

Statistics (2016-17 season):

Point differential: Celtics +2.6 (8th) > Wizards +1.8 (9th)

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Wizards 47.5% (3rd) > Celtics 45.4% (16th)

Assists per game: Celtics 25.2 (tied for 3rd) > Wizards 23.9 (6th)

Summary:

The series is now tied (3-3) after Washington won game six 92-91 at home.  John Wall scored an ugly 26 points on 9-25 shooting but hit the game winning three-pointer with 3.9 seconds on the clock.  Bradley Beal was sensational scoring 33 points on 15-26 shooting.  The Wizards bench has been their weakness all season so they should be thankful to have won despite getting only six combined points from that unit.  Isaiah Thomas scored 27 points on 8-24 shooting and had five critical turnovers.  Boston’s bench unit needs to step up as well having only managed five points in game six.  For the playoffs, the Celtics are averaging 106.4 points per game while allowing 103.3.  The Wizards are averaging 108.3 points per game and have allowed 107.5.  The home team has won every game in this series so far and I expect the Celtics to win game seven and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
