Summary:
The Dodgers enter the game 6th in the league in runs per game (4.97) while the Rockies (4.75) rank 12th. Colorado is (3-2) against the Dodgers this season despite being outscored 20-18 in those games. Rockies starter Tyler Anderson (2-3, 6.69) is off to a rough start this season. Dodgers hitters are batting a combined .276 off of Anderson in 87 total at bats. Rockies hitters have had success against Hyun-Jin Ryu batting .292 off of the Dodgers starter. Nolan Arenado is a player to watch with a .500 batting average and 2 home runs in 12 at-bats against Ryu. Ryu is just returning from the disabled list so it would be a surprise to see him pitch deep into the game. Colorado is (9-7) at home this season whereas Los Angeles is (7-8) on the road. I expect this to be a high scoring game with two of the top 12 offenses going head to head. Colorado has re-tooled their bullpen and lead the league with 15 saves. I like the Rockies to win a shoot-out at home.
