The 2017 NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday, April 27th and we want to hear who you think will be the top running back taken!

The Candidates:
Dalvin Cook: A 6ft 209 lb. junior who is Florida State’s all-time leading rusher with 4,464 yards. Cook rushed for 1,765 yards and 19 touchdowns last season. Cook’s 19 rushing touchdowns were the 6th most in college football. As a smaller back Cook relies on quick feet, great vision, and cutting ability. Cook is not the most physical running back and off the field issues could hurt his draft stock. At the NFL combine Cook ran 4.49 in the 40 yard dash and did 22 reps on the bench.
Leonard Fournette: A 6ft 1 228 lb. junior out of LSU was a consensus All-American in 2015 following his sophomore season where he rushed for 1,953 yards and 22 touchdowns. Fournette battled injuries as a junior but still managed 843 yards and 8 touchdowns in just seven games. A physical force with speed Fournette is considered by many scouts to be the best pure runner to come out of college since Adrian Peterson. Fournette doesn’t make many defenders miss in the open field and needs to work on receiving and pass protection. At the NFL combine Fournette ran 4.51 in the 40 yard dash.
Christian McCaffrey: A 5ft 11 203 lb. junior out of Stanford was the AP College Football Player of the Year in 2015 following a sophomore season where he compiled 3,864 all-purpose yards. Despite poor quarterback play in 2016, McCaffrey still managed 2,327 all-purpose yards in 2016. McCaffrey is known for his well-rounded game where he excels in running, receiving, and kick return ability. McCaffrey has great vision and acceleration but lacks ideal size of an every down back in the NFL. At the NFL combine McCaffrey ran 4.48 while posting the best times for the 3 cone drill (6.57) and 60 yard shuttle (11.03).
