Summary:

Gonzaga was the best team throughout the season having lost only one game while playing high level of competition.  The Bulldogs were (5-0) against ranked opponents. South Dakota State finished the season (8-2) in their last ten games and have zero wins against ranked opponents.  South Dakota State is truly a one man show with their star Mike Daum.  Daum is the second leading scorer in the nation at 25.3 points per game on 51.6% shooting to go along with 8.2 rebounds per game.  Gonzaga features a balanced attack with five players averaging double digit points.  Gonzaga is a juggernaut ranking 1st in point differential (+23.4), 2nd in field goal percentage (51.8%), 2nd in field goal percentage defense (36.8%), and 11th in rebounding (40.3).  I’m sure Gonzaga plans on doing everything they can to limit Daum, but even if he goes off, Gonzaga probably still wins this one easily.
