Summary:

This is the most lopsided match-up of all the “First Four” games.  North Carolina Central finished the season winning 15 of their last 17 games.  UC Davis was (7-3) in their final ten games.  Neither team played against any ranked teams this season.  North Carolina Central has the advantage in nearly every statistical category.  I was surprised to discover that North Carolina Central ranks 14th in point differential (11.7) and 10th in field goal percentage defense (39.1%).  North Carolina Central has the best player between the teams in Patrick Cole who averages 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.  North Carolina Central is the better team both offensively and defensively so I expect them to win this one by double digits.
