The Crowd:
“The Crowd” projects a final score of Wake Forest 73.8 – Kansas State 71.8 with an over/under of 145.6.
Statistics (2016-17 season):

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Wake Forest 47.2% > Kansas State 45.8%
Field Goal Percentage Defense: Kansas State 42.5% > Wake Forest 45.2%
Three Point Percentage: Wake Forest 38.7% > Kansas State 36.1%

Summary:
Wake Forest finished the season (6-4) in their last ten games while Kansas State was (5-5). Wake Forest really struggled against upper level competition going just (1-7) against ranked opponents. Kansas State fared slightly better going (3-5) against ranked opponents. These teams are polar opposites in terms of style of play Wake Forest ranks 16th in points per game while Kansas State is a top 60 team in fewest points allowed (66.9). Wake Forest is the more talented team on paper with at least two NBA caliber players in John Collins and Bryant Crawford. In only 26 minutes per game Collins averaged 18.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks while shooting 62% from the field. I think Kansas State can hold Wake Forest under their season average of 82.7 points per game. While the defense of Kansas State can keep them in the game, I don’t think they have the offensive firepower to beat the Demon Deacons.
