On Saturday, March 11th, the (51-11) Golden State Warriors will be on the road to take on the (48-13) San Antonio Spurs.

The Crowd:

“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Spurs 105.9 – Warriors 104.6 with an over/under of 210.6.

Summary:

San Antonio is (9-1) in their last ten games while Golden State is (7-3).  The Warriors will be without star forward Kevin Durant who is still out indefinitely with a leg injury.  The Warriors have lost two of their last three games without Durant scoring an average of 104.7 points in those contests.  The Warriors are still a very dangerous team with three other all-stars but their lack of depth gets exposed when one of their stars is out.  San Antonio has gone (6-4) in their last ten head to head regular season games against Golden State.  The Spurs are locked in right now defensively having held their last six opponents under 100 points.  Without Durant’s multi-faceted scoring ability,  Golden State will struggle to put up over 100 against the second best defensive team in the league.  The Spurs rank third in the NBA in three-point percentage defense (33.8%) and should be able to limit Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson from a monster performance.  I like San Antonio to win this one at home where they are (21-6) this season.
