The Warriors are still a very dangerous team with three other all-stars but their lack of depth gets exposed when one of their stars is out. San Antonio has gone (6-4) in their last ten head to head regular season games against Golden State. The Spurs are locked in right now defensively having held their last six opponents under 100 points. Without Durant’s multi-faceted scoring ability, Golden State will struggle to put up over 100 against the second best defensive team in the league. The Spurs rank third in the NBA in three-point percentage defense (33.8%) and should be able to limit Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson from a monster performance. I like San Antonio to win this one at home where they are (21-6) this season.
