The Crowd:
“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Spurs 105.6 – Thunder 101.3 with an over/under of 206.9.
Statistics (2016-17 season):
Point differential: Spurs +8.3 (2nd) > Thunder -0.1 (14th)

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Spurs 47.3% (4th) > Thunder 44.9% (20th)
Three Point Percentage: Spurs 39.2% (1st) > Thunder 32.3% (30th)

Assists per game: Spurs 23.8 (tied for 6th) > Thunder 20.7 (tied for 25th)
Summary:
San Antonio is (9-1) in their last ten games whereas Oklahoma City is just (5-5). Defense has been a major problem for the Thunder who have allowed 110.8 points per game in their last ten. San Antonio has gone (6-4) in their last ten head to head games with Oklahoma City. The Spurs have the advantage in nearly every statistical category. The biggest discrepancy is perimeter shooting where San Antonio ranks first and Oklahoma City ranks last. San Antonio is one of the NBA’s elite defensive teams and should be able to wear down Russell Westbrook whose usage rate is the highest in the league. San Antonio’s excellent ball movement should allow them to get easy buckets while Oklahoma City’s isolation ball will make them work for every shot. The Spurs are playing at a very high level right now so I like them to beat the Thunder on the road Thursday night.
