“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Warriors 110.8 – Celtics 103.4 with an over/under of 214.1.

Summary:

Golden State is (7-3) in their last ten games while Boston is (6-4).  The Warriors will be without star forward Kevin Durant who is still out indefinitely with a leg injury.  Durant was having an exceptional season averaging 25.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists on 53.7% shooting from the field.  The Warriors have lost two of their last three games without Durant scoring an average of 104.7 points in those contests.  These teams are not frequent opponents but Golden State has dominated this match-up winning six of their last seven head to head games with Boston.  In those seven games, all but one has been decided by ten or fewer points so I wouldn’t expect to see a blowout.  The Warriors have been the best home team in the NBA this season (26-3) while Boston has a respectable record on the road (19-14).  The absence of Durant certainly levels the playing field but the Warriors have dominated this match-up so I like them to win a close one at home.
