Summary:

Florida is currently riding a nine-game winning streak while Kentucky is (7-3) in their last ten games.  Florida embarrassed Kentucky 88-66 on their home floor in their earlier meeting this season.  Kentucky had no answer for the lightning quick Kasey Hill who tied his career high with 21 points.  Kentucky shot just 37% in that first meeting so I doubt that will happen again.  Florida will be without big man John Egbunu who is lost for the season with injury.  Florida has proven they can win without Egbunu but they are forced to play a different style.  Statistically these teams are very evenly matched with Kentucky being the better offensive team and Florida holding the edge on defense.  Egbunu’s absence will hurt Florida’s interior defense as well as their rebounding.  Florida will need another huge performance from their backcourt if they want to win this one.  I believe Kentucky will get revenge and win a close one on their home floor.
