The Crowd:

“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Thunder 107.8 – Knicks 100.8 with an over/under of 208.5.

Statistics (2016-17 season):

Point differential: Thunder +0.1 (12th) > Knicks -3.0 (24th)

Assists per game: Knicks 21.9 (tied for 18th) > Thunder 21.1 (tied for 22nd)

Summary:

Oklahoma City is (5-5) in their last ten games while New York is just (3-7).  The Knicks looked good in their 94-90 victory over San Antonio Sunday.  New York has allowed 110 or more points in seven of their last nine games.  The Knicks have struggled defensively all season ranking 25th in fewest points allowed per game (109.1).  Oklahoma City will be without big man Enes Kanter who is recovering from forearm injury.  Without Kanter the Thunder are noticeable softer on the interior.  Oklahoma City struggles to shoot from the outside but they should be able to dominate on the interior since the Knicks have no true rim protectors.  The Thunder have the advantage in terms of sheer athleticism so they should be able to take advantage of transition offense.  Oklahoma City is (19-8) at home while the Knicks are just (9-18) on the road.  I like the Thunder to win at home.
