Summary:
Liverpool is (3-1-1) in their last five matches while Manchester City is also (3-1-1) in that span. Both teams are a bit banged up but that’s to be expected at this stage of the season. Liverpool has been the most potent attacking team in the EPL by far this season. Liverpool don’t have one dynamic striker, rather almost every player they have is a goal scoring threat, and that’s what makes them so dangerous. Manchester City is one of the better defensive teams especially in the back so they should be able to limit a goal scoring onslaught. These teams are pretty evenly matched so I don’t expect a blowout either way. Ultimately, Anfield is one of the toughest places to play in the league so I expect Liverpool to defend their home turf.
