Summary:
Golden State currently holds the best record in the NBA and are playing great basketball having won eight of their last ten games. New York is also playing well going (7-3) in their last ten games. Knicks guard Derrick Rose is set to return to action after missing a few games with a back injury. Golden State is (9-2) at home while New York is just (5-6) on the road. Golden State exposed their weakness of interior defense the other night against Memphis but not many teams have multiple big men who can score. The Warriors have the advantage in nearly all of the major statistical categories and should be able to put up a huge point total against Knicks team that allows nearly 110 points per game. The Knicks have the advantage of the glass but they don’t have the personnel to score enough in the paint to beat Golden State.
