Strength of schedule:
Colorado is (10-2) with wins over Utah, Colorado State, Idaho State, Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona State, Stanford, UCLA, Arizona, and Washington State. Their two losses came against USC and Michigan. Washington is (11-1) with wins over Rutgers, Idaho, Portland State, Arizona, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, California, Arizona State, and Washington State. They were defeated at home against USC.
Summary:
Defensively the numbers are comparable but offensively Washington is averaging ten more points per game. The Huskies have playmakers all over the field and quarterback Jake Browning should be at least in the Heisman conversation. Colorado has had a magical run this year after going (4-9) a season ago. The Buffaloes have a great running back in Phillip Lindsay but he may find yards hard to come by against a tough Washington defense. Colorado has one of the better defensive units in the country but I’m not sure they can keep up with Washington who ranks third in scoring offense. Turnovers could play a key factor as the Huskies have the second best turnover margin in the country. Washington is the class of the PAC-12 this year and look for them to prove that Friday night.
