Summary:
Nick Saban and Alabama are currently riding the longest winning streak in college football at 23 games. After losing two of their first three games Auburn has rebounded to win seven of their last eight. Looking at the numbers Alabama has the advantage in every major category statistically. Auburn prides itself on running the football effectively but they will be up against an Alabama defense who is the best in the nation at stopping the ground game. To beat Alabama you must have a balanced offense but Auburn really struggles in the passing game. Auburn has a tough defense ranking in the top ten but they will have their hands full with an Alabama offense that averages over 40 points per game. Auburn has given Alabama trouble in the past but I just do see it this year.
