“The Crowd” projects a final score of Broncos 24.0 – Chiefs 22.7 with an over/under of 46.7.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Broncos 21.5 – Chiefs 18.0 with an over/under of 39.5.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Chiefs 333.8 (24th) > Broncos 324.7 (27th)

Points per game: Broncos 23.9 (14th) > Chiefs 22.2 (19th)

Turnover margin: Chiefs +13 > Broncos +5

Fewest yards allowed per game: Broncos 318.0 (4th) > Chiefs 373.7 (25th)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Chiefs 18.7 (tied for 5th) > Broncos 18.9 (9th)

Summary:

Kansas City is (5-1) in their last six games while Denver is just (3-3) in that span.  Broncos quarterback Trevor Simien has just six touchdowns to four interceptions in that stretch.  This has been a tough match-up for the Chiefs having lost eight of their last ten head to head games with Denver.  Kansas City enters the game with the best turnover margin in the NFL.  Points will be at a premium in this one with two of the elite defenses in the league squaring off.  Denver is (4-1) at home this year while Kansas City is (3-2) on the road.  I think the Broncos offense will have another tough week but once again their defense will carry them to victory at home.
