The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Cowboys 30.3 – Redskins 21.3 with an over/under of 51.6.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Cowboys 28.0 – Redskins 21.5 with an over/under of 49.5.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Redskins 418.5 (2nd) > Cowboys 413.1 (4th)

Points per game: Cowboys 28.5 (tied for 3rd) > Redskins 25.4 (9th)

Turnover margin: Cowboys +3 > Redskins +2

Fewest yards allowed per game: Cowboys 347.9 (13th) > Redskins 371.3 (23rd)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Cowboys 18.7 (tied for 5th) > Redskins 23.3 (18th)

Summary:

Both teams are clicking on all cylinders heading into this NFC East battle.  Dallas has won nine straight games while Washington has only lost twice in that span.  Washington’s offense has really come together solidifying themselves among the ten best in the NFL.  The Redskins defense has been nothing special this year and the Cowboys dominant offensive line should be able to push them around.  Dallas is the only team in the NFL that ranks top five in both scoring offense and scoring defense.  Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott continues his march towards Eric Dickerson’s rookie rushing record.  Dallas has gone (6-4) in their last ten head to head games with Washington.  I think Washington can score with Dallas but their defense will ultimately allow too many points.
