Overview:

On Sunday, November 20th, at 1:00 P.M. the (4-4-1) Arizona Cardinals will be on the road to take on the (5-4) Minnesota Vikings.

The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Cardinals 24.6 – Vikings 21.3 with an over/under of 46.0.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Cardinals 382.0 (7th) > Vikings 302.3 (32nd)

Points per game: Cardinals 22.4 (20th) > Vikings 19.4 (26th)

Turnover margin: Vikings +12 > Cardinals 0

Fewest yards allowed per game: Cardinals 295.2 (2nd) > Vikings 308.8 (3rd)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Vikings 16.9 (1st) > Cardinals 17.8 (tied for 3rd)

Summary:

Minnesota started the season (5-0) but have since lost four straight games.  The Vikings offense has totally fallen off averaging just 14 points per game in that stretch.  Minnesota really misses their star running back Adrian Peterson who is out at least a few more weeks with injury.  Minnesota is not forcing the ridiculous amount of turnovers they were early in the year and thus have lower point totals.  Arizona is on a different trajectory having lost only once in their last five games.  Their defense has risen to again become a top 5 unit in the NFL.  I think Arizona is the more balanced team and is certainly playing better football at the moment.  This should be a low-scoring game with two elite defenses going head to head and I like Arizona to squeak out a narrow road victory.
