Rushing defense: Florida 105.6 YPG > Arkansas 221.8 YPG
Turnover Margin Per Game: Florida +0.4 > Arkansas -0.6
Strength of schedule:
Florida is (6-1) with wins over UMass, Kentucky, North Texas, Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Georgia. Their lone defeat came on the road against ranked Tennessee. Arkansas is (5-3) with wins over Louisiana Tech, TCU, Texas State, Alcorn State, and Ole Miss. They were defeated by Texas A&M, Alabama, and Auburn.
Summary:
Boy the wheels really came off for Arkansas last week in a 56-3 road loss to Auburn. Arkansas has now dropped two of their last three games but have a chance to rebound at home against Florida. Florida has won three straight games and are being carried by their elite defense that ranks second in the country allowing fewer than 12 points per game. Only one time has the Gators defense allowed an opponent to score more than 14 points. I think the Gators defense is too strong and Arkansas is still shell shocked from their embarrassing loss last week.
