Fewest Points allowed per game: Packers 20.5 (11th) > Falcons 28.4 (27th)
Summary:
Green Bay will be without running back Eddie Lacy who is lost for the season with injury. Lacy is a big loss as his physical running style led to an average of 5.1 yards per carry. The Packers offense has yet to hit full stride as star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has shockingly struggled with his accuracy at times. The Green Bay defense has solidified itself among the best in the game.
Atlanta enters the this one having dropped two of their last three games. The Falcons offense is by far the best in the NFL as quarterback Matt Ryan and receiver Julio Jones are early MVP candidates. Atlanta’s defense has been pretty bad but they have been able to outscore the lesser competition they have played. I think Atlanta will bounce back and win a close one at home.
