The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Cardinals 27.0 – Jets 19.3 with an over/under of 46.4.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Cardinals 27.3 – Jets 19.8 with an over/under of 47.0.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Cardinals 363.2 (13th) > Jets 351.8 (17th)

Points per game: Cardinals 25.0 (10th) > Jets 18.4 (tied for 24th)

Turnover margin: Cardinals +2 > Jets -9

Fewest yards allowed per game: Cardinals 308.0 (8th) > Jets 370.8 (22nd)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Cardinals 20.2 (tied for 10th) > Jets 27.2 (23rd)

Summary:

The Jets have been nothing short of a disaster this season.  Head coach Todd Bowles is considering a quarterback change because Ryan Fitzpatrick has turned into a turnover machine.  The Jets have the worst turnover margin in football and it’s hard to see them winning until that changes.

The Cardinals have struggled the past two weeks in the absence of quarterback Carson Palmer who suffered a concussion.  Palmer has practiced this week and is expected to return Monday night.  Palmer will look to take advantage of a week Jets secondary and the rapid decline of former all-pro cornerback Darrell Revis.  I like the Cardinals to win this one easily at home.
