“The Crowd” projects a final score of Seahawks 25.2 – Falcons 23.7 with an over/under of 48.8.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Seahawks 25.8 – Falcons 19.8 with an over/under of 45.5.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Falcons 457.4 (1st) > Seahawks 357.5 (16th)

Points per game: Falcons 35.0 (1st) > Seahawks 19.8 (21st)

Turnover margin: Falcons +3 > Seahawks -1

Fewest yards allowed per game: Seahawks 264.0 (1st) > Falcons 388.6 (26th)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Seahawks 13.5 (3rd) > Falcons 28.0 (tied for 26th)

Summary:

The Falcons enter the game with the best offense in the league by far but they will be facing a top three defense in Seattle.  Atlanta struggles defensively and you have to wonder how long they can continue to outscore everyone.  The weather conditions call for cold and rain which would definitely favor Seattle.  The Seahawks are well rested coming off their bye week and have had two weeks to prepare for the prolific Falcons offense.  With a healthy Russell Wilson, I like Seattle to win a close one at home.
