Summary:

Texas is (9-1) against Houston this year and have been outscored 45-28.  These teams are very different as Texas mashes the ball whereas Houston relies on their strong pitching staff and defense.  The Rangers just recently added starter Lucas Harrell so he doesn’t have a big enough sample size vs Houston to draw any conclusions.

Texas batters are hitting a combined .275 off Houston starter Doug Fister.  Watch for Adrian Beltre to have a big game as he’s hitting .345 off Fister in 29 at bats.  Texas has absolutely dominated this match-up this year and I don’t see any reason for that to change.
