Overview:

On Saturday, July 16th, at 7:00 P.M. the BC Lions will be on the road to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  “The Crowd” projects a final score of Saskatchewan 26.5 – BC 24.9 with an over/under of 51.4.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Saskatchewan 26.0 – BC 24.0 with an over/under of 50.

Statistics (9 total teams):

BC leads the West division with a (2-1) record.  Saskatchewan is last in the division with a (0-2) record.  BC (+16) has the second best point differential in the CFL. Saskatchewan (-16), on the other hand, has the second worst point differential in the league.  BC ranks 8^th in points per game (20.7) but 1^st in fewest points allowed (15.3).  SSK ranks 4^th in points per game (26.5) and 8^th in fewest points allowed (34.5).

Summary:

BC is coming off a 25-14 loss to Toronto while Saskatchewan suffered a 39-36 defeat to Edmonton.  SSK has a much improved offense this year but their defense has really struggled.  BC remains the gold standard in terms of defense this year.  I expect BC to shut down the SSK offense and win this one on the road.
