Statistics (9 total teams):

Ottawa is (1-0) after defeating defending champion Edmonton 45-37 in week one.  Ottawa finished as the runner up last season after a (12-6) regular season.  Montreal is also (1-0) after defeating Winnipeg 22-14 in week one.  Last season Montreal was just 6-12.

Ottawa had a (+10) point differential last season whereas Montreal was (-14).  Ottawa was 4th in points per game (25.8) and 5th in points allowed per game (25.2).  Montreal was 8th in points per game (21.6) and 4th in points allowed per game (22.3).

Summary:

Ottawa was by far the most impressive team in the league in week one of the regular season.  The most surprising part was Trevor Harris taking over for the injured Henry Burris and still put up huge numbers.  Montreal poses a more formidable defense but Ottawa is clicking on all cylinders.  I’m taking Ottawa to win on the road.
