In game two of their series the three seed Oklahoma City Thunder will be on the road to take on the two seed San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs.  The game will be played on Monday, May, 2nd at 9:30 P.M. Eastern Time. “The Crowd” projects a final score of Spurs 104.2 – Thunder 97.9 with an over/under of 202.1.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Spurs 105 – Thunder 97.5 with an over/under of 202.5.

Point differential: Spurs +10.6 (2nd) Thunder +7.3 (3rd)

Points per game: Thunder 110.2 (2nd) Spurs 103.5 (10th)

Points allowed per game: Spurs 92.9 (1st) Thunder 102.9 (15th)

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Spurs 48.4 (2nd) Thunder 47.6% (3rd)

Three Point Percentage: Spurs 37.5% (2nd) Thunder 34.8% (tied for 17th)

Free Throw Percentage: Spurs 80.3% (2nd) Thunder 78.2% (10th)

Field Goal Percentage Defense: Spurs 43.6% (4th) Thunder 43.8% (5th)

Turnovers committed per game: Spurs 12.5 (5th) Thunder 15.5 (tied for 27th)

Turnovers forced per game: Spurs 14.3 (tied for 12th) Thunder 12.5 (26th)

Rebounds per game: Thunder 48.6 (1st) Spurs 43.9 (tied for 14th)

Assists per game: Spurs 24.5 (tied for 3rd) Thunder 23 (10th)

These teams are very evenly matched with the Spurs holding a slight advantage in nearly every statistical category.  In game one on their home floor San Antonio destroyed Oklahoma City 124-92.  The Thunder had no answer for Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge who poured in 38 points.  I think Oklahoma City will come out angry after being embarrassed and this should be a much closer game.  That said I still expect the Spurs to win and take a (2-0) series lead.
