In game three of their series the one seed (57-25) Cleveland Cavaliers will be on the road to take on the eight seed (44-38) Detroit Pistons one seed in the first round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs.  The game will be played on Friday, April, 22nd, at 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time. “The Crowd” projects a final score of Cavaliers 100.2 – Pistons 97.9 with an over/under of 198.1.  The Pistons enter the game with a (26-15) home record while the Cavaliers are (24-17) on the road.

Point differential: Cavaliers +6 (4th) Pistons +0.6 (14th)

Points per game: Cavaliers 104.3 (8th) Pistons 102 (19th)

Points allowed per game: Cavaliers 98.3 (3rd) Pistons 101.4 (12th)

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Cavaliers 46% (10th) Pistons 43.9% (25th)

Three Point Percentage: Cavaliers 36.2% (tied for 7th) Pistons 34.5% (tied for 21st)

Free Throw Percentage: Cavaliers 74.8% (21st) Pistons 66.8% (30th)

Field Goal Percentage Defense: Cavaliers 44.8% (14th) Pistons 46.1% (22nd)

Turnovers committed per game: Cavaliers 12.9 (8th) Pistons 13 (tied for 9th)

Turnovers forced per game: Cavaliers 12.9 (tied for 22nd) Pistons 12.9 (tied for 22nd)

Rebounds per game: Pistons 46.3 (tied for 2nd) Cavaliers 44.5 (9th)

Assists per game: Cavaliers 22.7 (tied for 13th) Pistons 19.4 (27th)

Cleveland has the advantage in nearly every one of the major statistical categories. The Pistons are proving to be pesky and are well coached under Stan Van Gundy.  Lebron James’ teams are 10-0 in first round playoff series and have won upwards of 85% of their games.  I think the score lines in this series will be a lot closer than originally expected but Cleveland should still win on the road.
