Summary:

The 146th Open Championship will tee off at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England.  Royal Birkdale is 7,156 yards long and with par being 70.  Players who can consistently keep the ball straight should fare well by avoiding the dunes and tall grass that cause big numbers on the scorecard.  Henrik Stenson (+2000) will look to defend his British Open title from a year ago.  Dustin Johnson (+1000) enters as the World #1 and odds on favorite to win the tournament.  Other recent winners of this tournament include Zach Johnson (+6600) in 2015, Rory McIlroy (+1000) in 2014, and Phil Mickelson (+3500) in 2013.  Masters winner Sergio Garcia (+1600) and U.S. Open champion Brooks Koepka (+2800) will attempt to take home their second major of the season.
