In game five of their series the five seed Portland Trail Blazers will be on the road to take on the one seed Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs.  The Warriors hold a (3-1) series advantage with game four taking place in Golden State.  The game will be played on Wednesday, May, 11th at 10:30 P.M. Eastern Time. “The Crowd” projects a final score of Warriors 109.3 – Blazers 100.4 with an over/under of 209.7.

Point differential: Warriors +10.8 (1st) Blazers +0.8 (13th)

Points per game: Warriors 114.9 (1st) Blazers 105.1 (6th)

Points allowed per game: Warriors 104.1 (19th) Blazers 104.3 (20th)

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Warriors 48.7% (1st) Blazers 45% (16th)

Three Point Percentage: Warriors 41.6% (1st) Blazers 37% (tied for 4th)

Free Throw Percentage: Warriors 76.3% (16th) Blazers 75.4% (19th)

Field Goal Percentage Defense: Warriors 43.5% (3rd) Blazers 45.3 (16th)

Turnovers committed per game: Blazers 14.1 (17th) Warriors 14.9 (25th)

Turnovers forced per game: Warriors 13.8 (15th) Blazers 12.8 (tied for 24th)

Rebounds per game: Warriors 46.2 (4th) Blazers 45.5 (5th)

Assists per game: Warriors 28.9 (1st) Blazers 21.3 (21st)

The Warriors hold the advantage in nearly every major statistical category listed above.  Warriors’ star Stephen Curry made a triumphant return scoring 17 of his teams’ 21 points in the game four overtime victory.  With the return of Curry, I think the Blazers are clearly overmatched.  The Blazers were competitive on their home floor, but I’m taking the Warriors to close out the series by double digits at home.
