Virginia holds the advantage in nearly every one of the major statistical categories. Virginia has signature wins against six ranked opponents: Miami (twice), Louisville (twice), North Carolina, West Virginia, Villanova, and Iowa State. Syracuse has signature wins against five ranked teams: Connecticut, Texas A&M, Duke, Notre Dame, and Gonzaga. Virginia won the previous match-up 73-65 on their home floor. I think Syracuse will struggle to score against an elite defensive team so I’m picking Virginia to win again.
